Outreach

Outreach from Lima is to many people, organizations, and causes. We are living what we teach. The following partial list of activities may help in your understanding of the scope of this Ministry.

Feeding the Homeless

We buy, cook, and serve the 4th Sunday of the month for 9 months.

Visits to Retirement Homes

Visits are monthly. Visits to Fair Acres are variable.

Visitations / Send Cards

Not just at Holidays, year round labor of love. Our Love Bug Network works!

Mission Contributions

Too numerous to list all the Organizations we support. Samples include: Redbird, Appalachian, Kensington, Water Street, People's Emergency Center, African University.  Call if you can help - You are really needed.

Angel Tree Project

Members supply Christmas gifts for children of prisoners.  The children receive the gifts at a party before Christmas.

Leprosy Program

Yes, it still is a problem! Our folks haven't forgotten.

Red Cross Bloodmobile

A blood drive is held at the church twice each year.

Teddy Bear Dressing

We are blessed with dozens of smartly dressed Teddy bears, decked out by Members, then donated to the Salvation Army each year.

Rummage/Bake Sales

Well of course we have to raise money to support these and other projects. Look for them every Spring and Fall.
